Thunderbirds are GO!
posted in apple, edtech, movies |A very cool looking movie (especially as rated by my 6 year old), and now full screen VCD trailers….
The new movie “Thunderbirds” is sure to be a big hit at our house, we have been watching the movie trailer (along with the trailer to “Princess Diaries 2″) several times already this week in the evenings. Interestingly, the Yahooligans search my son did this evening for the official movie site pointed to the UK version, which turns out to have 2 different movie trailers than the US version or the Apple trailers website. (so at least 3 different trailers for this movie are available online, but only one of them is linked from the official US movie website.)
In about 45 min this evening, we saved copies of the large format version of all 3 trailers and burned them all to VCD (video CD) to watch them in a much larger format on our TV, instead of the computer. The secret ingredients that allowed us to do it?
1- A fast new Macintosh computer
2- Snap-Z Pro
3- Toast
What fun!
