Now there is a way for comments to be posted to my iBlog musings! When visiting Ian Jukes’ webblog today, I noticed he is using the service of Haloscan (www.haloscan.com) for blog visitor commenting. After registering on the Haloscan website, I was able to quickly locate instructions for using their service with iBlog.
I had been wondering if I needed to switch to some type of server-based blogging software (like blogger.com) in order to have commenting available. Now I don’t! Blogging is supposed to be interactive– and now my blog is! Apparently this feature is just going to work on new posts I make with iBlog, or if I edit and republish older postings. At least the age of “comment enabled” webblogging has begun for me!
Enjoy.
