An exported list of my current QuickVerse bookmarks, and some thoughts on the QuickVerse program as well as its lack of (current) Mac compatibility and cludgy functionality.

For over a year now I have been using the QuickVerse Bible Palm software. It is OK, but I wish it was Mac compatible (or I would like to find equivalent or better Mac compatible Palm Bible software.) I also wish the bookmarks were easier to access– to get to the category, I have to click Bookmarks, scroll all the way down through them, and at the end click EDIT BOOKMARKS. Then I can choose a category, and click on the bookmark I want to view. This seems like it takes too many steps. Maybe there is an easier way and I just haven’t figured it out, if you use this program and have a suggestion please let me know.

I do see on the QuickVerse website that they are shipping a Mac version in late spring (hey, aren’t we in summer already?) — but I don’t see anything about a Palm version compatible with the Mac OS. If I could use a Mac version, then I could probably stop using my office windoze machine to sync my palm and do everything on my mac… that would be quite nice. Several years ago when I started needing to sync to the MS Exchange server we use where I work, there was not a functional solution on the Mac side that I could find / get to work– for MS Exchange and Entourage.

At any rate, I have been having some phone problems on my Treo600 Palm and so I’m in the process of doing some updates / reinstallations. I need to delete QuickVerse and install it on a removable memory card, but before I did that I created a list of all the Bible Bookmarks I have saved. This version is not linked, but if anyone is interested, here it is! (and now I also have it archived for my own future reference if needed):
