Self-cleaning WikiPedia

Great experiment by Esquire magazine, revealing the self-cleaning nature of WikiPedia.

Key to note in the article (on page 2 of the online version) is that the established community of WikiPedia was key to the success of this initiative.

Another phrase for this is “twenty-first century peer review.”

And now we have WikiBooks. My brain literally hurts at the pace and scope of amazing innovations that I am learning about online every day. Will it ever stop? I don’t think so, barring an imminent Armageddon.
