Sweet victory over the Cornhuskers

Ah, the day is always sweet when the Cornhuskers lose a football game.

Last year, it was a 60 point loss to the Red Raiders of Texas Tech, their worst ever in school history. This year, it was their first homecoming loss since 1968.

Sweet.

Growing up watching Nebraska roll over Kansas State every year (in the 1980s), I can honestly say I don’t think I’ll ever get my fill of watching games like this. Congrats to the Red Raiders for an outstanding performance in yesterday’s game!

Looks like this may be a super year to travel with Texas Tech to a bowl game, if things continue to go as they have to date…..

Hey, I teach in Miami ,Texas, but grew up in Nebraska and Kansas. I just have one thing to say about the game……We gave it to you!
Remember…. You can’t spell suck without KSU!

Congratulations on the Tech win but I have to agree with the comment above – we handed it to you. Good luck to Tech on the rest of the season. This podcaster grew up in Nebraska and still flies the Husker flag every game day here in Kansas City. My daughter is only 2 but she can yell GO BIG RED with the best of them. The Huskers will be back to full strength in two years. Thanks. Love the blog and podcast.

Thanks to you both– amazing how football comments generate a response! It was quite a game. I think TTU will handle KSU without as many problems this weekend, but we shall see….

Well, the best team won last Saturday, no doubt about that. Maybe TTU is the real deal. This weekend against UT should tell us a lot more!
