RSSCalendar

RSSCalendar is a slick read/write web service (currently free in beta) that permits people to share calendar events via RSS.

I signed up for a free account and have created two categories for my RSS Calendar: Presentations and Conferences. I have added the Spring 2006 educational technology presentations and conferences that I am scheduled to share and attend, and added these as a sidebar item here on my blog. I chose to share a “3 month” version” of these events, which shows up on each page of my blog.

RSSCalendar is a great tool. Hopefully it will remain free. Thanks to Will Richardson for modeling use of RSSCalendar on his blog for me!

Can RSS Calendar aloud restricted write access? I’m thinking of this for a group … obviously you can set an account and share the login details but I’m thinking of a couple of options:

    1. I give write access to a select group on my rss calendar
    2. Set up a group RSS calendar and have it bi-directionally sync with a number of other rss calendars (members of the group).

I know I need to go an read the stuff at RSS Calendar but wondered if you or Will had looked for this already.
