The motto of Harvard University’s Global Voices project is, “The world is talking. Are you listening?”
Another question projects like this should prompt educators to ask is, “Are you inviting your students to participate in this global dialog?” If not, we should be.
Stephanie Rieger has a link to Global Voices on her blog that alerted me to this great project. Whatever your state or content area standards may be, don’t you want your students becoming more motivated and capable communicators? Participating in the Global Voices project might be a great way to advance that goal.
