Podcast36: Genocide in Darfur: Speaking Out on Human Rights
posted in christian, globalvoices, podcasts |The US Holocaust Memorial Museum declared a genocide emergency in 2004 for the Darfur region of Sudan in Africa. This genocide is ongoing, and we need to speak out to help educate others about the importance of taking action to stop this genocide. We need to act together as human beings who not only care, but act based on our concerns for our global neighbors. This presentation was shared with a men’s fellowship group at Westminister Presbyterian Church in Lubbock, Texas. (The recording was edited to remove participant discussion.) Follow the links included in the podcast shownotes for more information and resources about taking action on the situation in Darfur.
