Educational loves

I heard a funny and fairly accurate saying from my friend Maria Henderson this evening that relates to the things teachers at different levels love. This may be a paraphrase of something said more eloquently by someone else, but this is how she shared it:

Elementary teachers love their kids.

Secondary teachers love their content.

University professors love themselves.

Of course every generalization is going to have its exceptions, but I can personally think of quite a few examples at each educational level where this saying seems to be true! :-)
