Podcast38: Engaging the Heart and Singing the Song of the Student
posted in creativity, edtech, podcasts |This short podcast features several short interviews with participants in today’s workshop at ESC10 in Richardson, Texas, that focused on Curriculum and Instruction in the 21st Century. The first, and longer interview, is with Barbara Dorff, a passionate educator who believes our prisons are filled with people with brilliant minds who never had a teacher who sang their song. Barbara talks about the importance of engaging students creatively through the arts and grabbing them by their heart. I have no doubt Barbara is the type of teacher students can never forget. Two other teachers talked about their personal takeaways concerning disruptive technologies from today’s workshop.
