I was glad to learn today that Apple has released new, free software program update that lets parents set an upper decibel limit on their children(s)’ iPod music players, and protect the setting with a password so it can’t be easily circumvented.
The free software is available from Apple’s main iPod software download site or as an automatic iPod software update (from 3-23-2006).
