What a wonderful webcast! Alexander did an amazing job explaining each part of the progeam. The directions are great too. I used them to follow along as I created my account.

As part of an avid extended Lego family, I have sent Alexander's podcast to my siblings and their children. I'm sure that they will all make Alexander their buddy. Thanks for the wonderful podcast!

One of our university IT people suggested treating your usernames and passwords like credit card numbers, and even keeping them in your wallet. Since someone else who obtained them could virtually "do business as you" it makes sense to treat them with the same care. Most IT people will tell you to never write down your password, but for truly secure passwords this becomes difficult to impossible for most people. Our university has started requiring everyone to change their password every 90 days, which is good from a security standpoint, but a pain. Also, passwords must be 8 characters and can't contain any words in the dictionary over 3 letters long. Yes, userid and password management is a good lesson that you probably can't start learning soon enough.

Glad you enjoyed the podcast, Cheryl. It was a lot of fun to make together, and I really learned alot myself! :-)

OMG, what a great podcast! I loved Alexander's insight and how so matter a fact he was. He could be a facilatator for any staff development, he is slow, deliberate in his explanations.
How to keep track of user names and passwords, I have had to actually use a pencil and mini address book to keep track. Some of the Webheads suggested it just in case you lose your hard drive, and all your user names and passwords! I shiver when I think of it! So, a non techno tip for the week. Keep a little black book for your user names and passwords for a back up. Good luck.
