I, too, have had a pretty major hard disk crash on my PowerBook. Is it something catching? I had more trouble getting a backup and have lost some stuff. I've still not had time to get the PowerBook off for repair / replacement. I'm amazed at just how many Library files and App Support folders there can be to make one file work. Surely there's a better way for the mac to package everything together?!
