MPEG types
posted in edtech |Video files come in lots of flavors. One of the more common formats for web video is MPEG, often abbreviated MPG. Apple has a good website detailing differences between MPEG-1, MPEG-2, and MPEG-4 formats. WikiPedia’s entry for MPEG also has information (including a bit about the abandoned format MPEG-3) and links worth following.
