Voices in electronic collaboration
posted in digitalstorytelling, web 2.0 |…audio forum software that you can use on your web site for free. Talk to your friends, host interactive podcasts, or use it like an audio blog. Use it anytime you need to communicate with groups of people small or large. With Vaestro, everyone has a chance to speak and be heard. Our software is built to solve many problems with other methods of communication. In fact, it is built to become a new paradigm in mass media.
This is so cool! The interactive podcasts concept is appealing, as is the idea of a voice-empowered class project collaboration space. Discussion boards and blogs are OK for group projects, but there is something about the human voice that text simply cannot capture. I am intrigued by tools like this! Before Vaestro, YackPack was the main web technology I had tried that involved web 2.0 voice exchanges. YackPack incidentally has recently introduced the YackLearning site, which includes helpful tutorials and ideas for getting started using YackPack in educational contexts.
Check out Vaestro! My read/write web tools list just keeps growing!
