If you have installed Internet Explorer 7 Beta (for Windows) to try out the new features, you may not immediately realize that it CAN be removed from your system. In WinXP when you choose Control Panels, Add/Remove Programs, and I guess if you’ve installed IE 7 Beta fairly recently, it should show up as a program you can remove normally.
If you were an “earlier adopter” trying it out and you don’t readily see IE 7 Beta to remove it, click the button SHOW UPDATES at the top of the control panel window to reveal the all Windows updates you have installed. (Yes, that list seems quite long.) IE 7 Beta should now show up in the list of programs at the very bottom, and you can click it to uninstall. Via QuirksBlog.
