My 8 year old son, Alexander, showed me some really fun stopmotion animations this morning, created with legos by some REALLY creative and talented digital storytellers! These movies include “Revenge of the Brick” (his favorite– he likes how Dooku uses Grievious as his TV antenna, how the Jedis are able to reconstruct starfighters on the fly in battles using the force, the Wookie war on Kashyyyk, and Darth Vader conducting a storm trooper orchestra playing “The Imperial March”), “The Han Solo Affair,” and “Classic Star Wars animations.”
Alexander discouraged me from watching the “Star Wars legos commercials” link, because “they are all just ads.” (Alexander is developing some good media literacy skills amidst the fun of watching and playing with legos, I think!)
“Revenge of the Brick” was made by Treehouse Animations. Now those are some creative folks!
