I was exploring my profile and account options in Skype this evening and ran across this interesting question. Should I change my Skype currency from Euros to something else?
This would be a great, practical question to pose for a group of students. How would you make up your mind? You can choose any currency you want to use in Skype, regardless of where you live. So what currency is the strongest right now? What currency is likely to be strong in the months to come? How would we find out? Who would we believe if people offer different opinions? What do the currency value graphs of all the available currencies look like when plotted out over the past six months. Can we extrapolate those graphs into the future?
Great topic for a class project!
