Great podcast on creative ways to use digital storytelling. I have been working a lot this year on using digital storytelling with my english students. What began as a way for my students to present an aspect of their essays has evolved into an equal part. I have noticed that the students think more about their writing when they have to storyboard and locate a concrete image to represent the thoughts from the paper. It is also a great way to connect with students. I am expanding on this idea for a current post.

Keep up the good work and thanks for keeping my head spinning with ideas. If you get a chance to check out some of the digital stories my student have last semester's are one wikispaces http://kstevens.wikispaces.com/Family+Videos. I am in the process of converting to our new wiki at pbwiki. Nothing against wikispaces, in fact I love, I am just having issues with our school's service provider who will not unblock our class wiki, different issue entirely.

Enjoy your day,
