TurningPoint is the only software that is 100% native to PowerPoint on the market. Other software programs have overlays that work with PowerPoint, but they require you to learn proprietary programs. This results in a 18-20 step process for creating slides as opposed to a 3 step process with TurningPoint. This ease-of-use is key. If a student response system is too hard to use then it won't get implemented.

TurningPoint also has many advanced features such as demographic tracking, standards tracking, team and individual competition slides. There is self paced-mode and class mode in addition to a test generator.

As far as pricing goes, it is the most affordable on the market, only $695 for a 24-seat classroom.

What other student response systems use PowerPoint? I am not an expert in this area but I really want to learn about more options. Do you know of links to articles that objectively compare different options for student response systems?

FYI -
Numerous other Student Response Systems use Powerpoint to present presentations. Generally speaking, Turning Point is not nearly as inexpensive as other players in the market. But, price is only 1 piece of the puzzle, features and flexibility are a huge factor when looking at these devices...
