Moving at the Speed of Creativity by Wesley Fryer

Skype tomorrow?

If you will be available Wednesday, Feb 28th between 11 and 11:45 US Central Time and would be interested in skyping into my session on safe digital social networking (briefly) to say hello and tell session participants a bit about what you love best about working in education, please comment here with your skype ID. No promises but I’ll try to skype in several folks during the session! 🙂

If you have a camera and can skype in with video that would be best!

    Hi Wes,

I should be around today if you still need folks. Any chance that you might be available on Friday, March 9th between 12:20 and 1:30 EST/11:20-12:30 CST?

Wish I’d seen this yesterday! Takes an act of congress to get the IT folks to allow me to use Skype – even temporarily!!

Hey, sorry we couldn’t skype everyone in! We actually ended up having some great contributions from Heather, a teacher in the Houston area, as well as Dean Shareski in Moose Jaw, Canada. The session ended up focusing more on Skype than I had planned, and some people left comments on the eval that they wanted more digital social networking and internet safety than Skype. I think IM and the VOIP conferencing as well as videoconferencing fit into the safe DSN discussion very appropriately. Many people were pleased with the session too– you can never please everyone. Thanks to all for your offers to participate. This really added to the value of the session I think.

Thanks for letting us participate, Wes. The kids had great fun, and their classmates were quite envious – gives them a good reason to check with me as I walk in each morning! Looking forward to learning more about your Safe DSN work.
