We actually ended up having some great contributions from Heather, a teacher in the Houston area, as well as Dean Shareski in Moose Jaw, Canada. The session ended up focusing more on Skype than I had planned, and some people left comments on the eval that they wanted more digital social networking and internet safety than Skype. I think IM and the VOIP conferencing as well as videoconferencing fit into the safe DSN discussion very appropriately. Many people were pleased with the session too-- you can never please everyone.
