Your ideas on school 2.0?
I'm presenting tomorrow at 2 pm here at NECC in Atlanta with Katie Beedon on the subject of School 2.0. Our session is titled "Reinventing Education for the 21st-Century (Designing School 2.0)" and the description reads:
This presentation shares this vision for Designing School 2.0 and offers suggestions for how civic leaders can move toward this vision at local levels.
The second word "this" in the description is a typo: One of the points I'll make tomorrow is that the recipes (NOT formulas) for school 2.0 are as diverse and differentiated just as the contexts for learning are across the world. Whether or not you're attending NECC in person now, here's a chance for you to contribute to the conversation. I've posted three questions to my digital literacy blog, and I would love to hear your thoughts and responses:
Please share your thoughts on one or more of these questions, in one to three sentences per question. The links are:
- What does school 2.0 look like?
- How can teachers support school 2.0?
- Leadership/District support of school 2.0
For those who are live blogging this session tomorrow or who have a wireless laptop, I'll invite them to respond to these questions as well at the start of the session. The NECC recommended blog tag for this session is n07s816.
