I have been interested in PBL for a long time, but haven't been sure how to use it. I think it is an essential part of a constructivist approach to teaching and learning. Students retain what they learn when they do something, not when the teacher says something. After all, if the students don't retain what they learn, what's the point in teaching it in the first place.
