I wanted to be in this session, BUT there were so many sessions and other opportunities to pursue. Choices-choices-choices. Glad the ustreams are archived. Maybe like you, others will re-release them later so we can take time to virtually sit through them, either for the first time, or as a review after participating initially. WOW< isn't that what K12Online is all about?

The corporate world has been using Web 2.0 and other online tools (such as Adobe Captivate) for a while now for their own internal professional development. I think that we, as teacher, are just beginning to scratch the surface when it comes to the collaboration between professionals that is possible – this is likely because we're all usually so student-centric. Each classroom may be different, but there is a common thread that runs through all of them and when teachers from around the world are engaging in dialogue about best practices and new tools, then the possibilities are endless.
