Hi Wes,

I tracked back from soldiers perspective. I am the sue in the article about They Have Names. I just read what you wrote in both articles and I appreciate your caring the way that you do and the support you are giving CJ's website. I do some of the research and I can tell you that as I work on the profiles that are sent to our writers to familiarize themselves with the Hero, I am amazed by the stories. These were truly extraordinary human beings and their stories deserve to be told. If there are family members of fallen Heroes who read your site and would like to help us tell their story, please go to the website, www.theyhavenames.com and send me an email. Again, many thanks for your spreading the word.

Thank you so much for sharing both the link to "They Have Names" and to that post which provides background. This is exactly the type of site which I think we need, and I'll be sharing this with others here in Oklahoma to see if they are willing to write and contribute to this VERY important effort.

Wes -- Check out CJ's website, "They All Have Names." He would appreciate the help of others to add more pages for those who've given all. More info about him & this labor of love is on his "Soldiers Perspective" blog.

While we were at NECC my daughter's very good friend Staff Sargeant Eddie Heredia, from Houston, lost his life to rifle fire in Afghanstan. Eddie and his family were dual citezens of the United States and Mexico. All of his life he wanted to give back to this country that gave him so much. My sincere appreciation is with soldiers and their and families who have made this ultimate sacrifice so that we can live in freedom in this great country.

Wes, Thanks for a great post! As the mother of a US serviceman I appreciate your point and your ability to embrace the various perspectives.
Wish there had been more time for conversation at NECC.
