It's not a news app, but the Weather HD is gorgeous--I use it a lot, just to look at the pics! : ) BTW: I must have snuck in early enough on Flipboard that I could link to FB and Twitter--amazing. I really love it. Gives a large enough snipped of each link so you know whether you want to read the whole thing or not, and does a good job of choosing which pics to use for visual appeal! HI, Wes
