StoryRobe + ReelDirector = Hybrid Mobile Video #edapps

Yesterday I attended the Saturday portion of “SuperStart” weekend in Grand Prairie, Texas, with my daughter, Sarah. SuperStart is a 1.5 day, Christian ministry experience designed specifically for pre-teens. I wanted to document the event along with Sarah, so I asked her to use the iOS application Sonic Pics to narrate about ten photos from

iGrill, iRig & Mikey

These three items caught my eye today at the Apple Store in Frisco, Texas. No new purchases today, but it’s amazing to see the creative, new accessories entrepreneurs continue to invent for iOS devices! As a podcaster and occasional “stringer,” I like the last icon on the back of the Mikey box. – Posted using

Audio Podcasts Online for Technology Leadership: PLNs, Vision & PD

This week’s 1.5 day workshop with educational administrators and teachers in Montana, “Technology Leadership: PLNs, Vision & PD,” was a great learning experience at multiple levels. Whenever educators get together and create media projects which are shared online and celebrated, good things usually happen. That’s been a key part of the formula for our Storychasers’

It’s wonderful to be here in Missoula, Montana, to spend a couple days with area school administrators discussing the need for educational leaders to create professional learning communities, to lead with “digitally informed” vision for blended learning, and support transformative models of professional development in our schools. I’ll be presenting and facilitating sessions here in

Considering Options to Reduce Monthly Wireless Bills

Since giving our 13 year old son my old iPhone 3GS for Christmas, I’ve known his SMS (text message) use was going to go up. Previously, he’d had a Motorola Razr phone and sending text messages was cumbersome for him. Getting our family on the AT&T “family plan” for unlimited text messages has been on
