It’s a GREAT time to encourage teachers in your school or organization to read eBooks, and “Playing with Media: simple ideas for powerful sharing” is a fantastic eBook to buy for them. Since “Playing with Media” is available for iPad, Kindle, Nook, and other eReaders which support the EPUB format, by purchasing download licenses for the book your teachers can obtain the specific version they need for their eReader.
The politics of eBook pricing today are interesting to say the least. Because of restrictions created by distributors for online pricing, I cannot offer discounted pricing for my eBook online. The online prices you’ll find with Amazon, Barnes & Noble, on my blog, on playingwithmedia.com, and (eventually) on Apple’s iBookStore are all the same by contract.
HOWEVER, I can and would love to negotiate with you individually for discounted pricing of my eBook if you’re interested in purchasing ten or more copies. Some educational organizations, like the New Hampshire Society for Technology in Education, have negotiated discounted pricing to purchase my eBook for all attendees at an upcoming conference.
