I am a vocal advocate for the constructive and appropriate uses of mobile phones for learning inside and outside of “formal” classrooms. These are some of the resources I’ve created related to this topic:

    Thanks for the nod to my presentation. Your wiki is great!!! Definitely gives me a few new things to take a look at (Ravewireless for one). Isn’t it great how many resources there are that work with cell phones for learning! I’m getting overwhelmed :-)

    AMEN! Finally, someone else who realizes that banning cell phones from schools is like holding back the ocean with a broom! I have been saying that in my area, but have fallen on deaf ears

    I quite agree- and I believe the solution to the “cell phone and ipod problem” in schools is to TEACH THEM HOW TO USE THEM APPROPRIATELY not “ban” them.

    Sort of like banning books during the renaissance…
