I had a chance yesterday to listen to a podcast from the outstanding Medal of Honor Winners Podcast, sponsored by the Pritzker Military Library in Chicago, Illinois. We listened to the podcast interview with Gary Littrell, who is a Vietnam-era medal of honor winner who retired as a US Army Commmand Sergeant Major.
Wow. The valor of someone like Sergeant Major Littrell is remarkable. Of course the Medal of Honor is the highest recognition conferred by the US Military for valor, so this should perhaps come as no surprise, but these are NOT the types of stories you hear every day.
Thanks to the Pritzker Military Library for making these podcasts available!
