Frieda Foxworth and Ron Bosch’s class website Global Horizons reveals that they and their 5th grade students are engaged in a variety of projects and classroom activities using web 2.0 tools. The site includes links to their class Blogmeister site which features student writing, their class activities blog (on EduBlogs), and their class blog maintained by Mrs. Foxworth and Mr. Bosch, as well as other resources.
There’s a whole lotta web 2.0 explorin’ and workin’ goin’ on at Red Bank Elementary School in Lexington, South Carolina!

As the principal at Red Bank Elementary, I am extremely proud of the learning environment Mrs. Foxworth and Mr. Bosch create every day for their fifth grade students. Their model of collaboration has extended beyond their classroom into other grades in the school.
I agree completely with you that the collaborative model of teaching and learning is the most effective for continued improvement of teachers, and therefore, students. Working smarter, with many heads, is always preferable to the sprinkling of information in other types of professional development.
Thank you for your response to their presentation. We’re proud to have them on our team!

Mrs. Foxworth’s and Mr. Bosch’s Global Horozions classroom is a model for the school district. They are truly trailblazers in the field of technology integration.
