During a workshop on podcasting I taught recently, participants had some trouble getting the microphones connected to their WindowsXP computers to work. The website www.audiohelp.info uses a browser-based Flash program to test your speakers and microphone, and works for computers running Windows or Macintosh OS X. This website is provided for free by YackPack, but you can also use it to test audio functionality for other applications like Bubbleshare or podcasting with Audacity.
