So here are the 8 facts:

1. My favorite movies of all time are Star Wars, The Princess Bride, Top Gun, Joe versus the Volcano, and Strange Brew.

2. My favorite roadtrip food is a bag of Funyuns.

3. I love Pisco Sour, thanks to my wonderful visit to Peru in the summer of 1990 just before the inauguration of President Alberto Fujimori.

4. I was offered a position with the U.S. Department of State as a Political Officer after I got out of the Air Force, but I turned it down to become a fourth grade teacher.

5. When I was much younger I wanted to be a firefighter when I grew up.

6. My first dog was named Rufus.

7. I sometimes wonder if cats really taste like chicken.

8. Two of my favorite musical artists are Rick Ocasek and Tom Petty.

    That’s funny that you mention pisco sour, I just got back from Peru days ago! I could have brought you some! Since I was there for July 28th (Peruvian independence day) they had a fountain in front of the presidential palace flowing with pisco, it was a sight to see, that many peruvians with sippy cups drinking pisco.

    These are funny, but why would anyone EVER wonder about what a cat tastes like. Your mind works in ways I don’t understand.

    Well, that probably goes back to my days in Air Force survival training as a student and later as an instructor, where the joke was that all animal meat you could obtain in the wilderness “tasted like chicken.” It is a contextual joke for that setting, which perhaps I should have explained! (I have not seriously contemplated eating a cat to see what it tasted like, even though I am definitely not a cat-fan other than a KSU Wildcat fan!)
