ProfCast is an excellent program for Mac OS X which makes creation of enhanced podcasts including PowerPoint or Keynote slides synchronized to audio narration relatively straightforward. I’ve used ProfCast several times with good results, including last December when I recorded a “draft” of my presentation on cultivating digital literacy skills via blogging and pocasting for MacWorld. ProfCast is now sponsoring a contest for teachers and students to share stories about your summer vacation adventures. Four categories are available for submission: Student Submission, Class Submission, Teacher Submission, and Non-Academic Submission.
Podcasts can be 2 to 10 minutes in length and must be submitted by October 19, 2007. Prizes for winning entries are new iPod Nanos!
