I thought it was a good overall motivational presentation, but do share similar concerns. One thing that struck me was the mass applaus when the statement was made on the video that we as a society should have done something to stop the atrocities of Sierra Leone. As a veteran of the Iraq war, I constantly hear we should leave and shouldn’t have gone in to begin with. Having been there and seen the fruits of the Saddam regime, if we hadn’t done something a similar statement could have easily been made. (Sorry, not trying to get political, this was just a chord that struck me.)
