Happy Veterans Day, to all our military veterans from all branches of service! This year on Veterans Day, I encourage you to take a few minutes and watch some of the tribute videos which have been created in the past few months by students and teachers in Oklahoma and Kansas, participating in Celebrate Oklahoma Voices and Celebrate Kansas Voices. If you’re watching with an iOS device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch) remember you can use the free application SkyFire to view the flash-based videos on your device linked below on our Ning websites. SkyFire transcodes the Flash-based videos on the fly to MPEG-4 format which plays nice on iOS mobile devices. Some of these videos (those from Kansas in this post) have been shared to YouTube, and should play fine in any web browser or mobile device. Just click the specific link to a video within SkyFire and you’ll see a Flash conversion / play option at the bottom of your screen.
Thanks to all our military veterans. Your sacrifices and the sacrifices of your families have given us the freedoms we enjoy today, and secured the blessings of liberty which we are well advised never to take for granted.
