This is an audio podcast version of the December 28, 2014 “2014 EdTech Year in Review” educational technology Google Hangout including Jason Neiffer (@techsavvyteach), Eric Langhorst (@elanghorst), and Wesley Fryer (@wfryer). Participants discussed the digital tools, trends, workflows, conferences, and interactions which stood out in 2014 for educators and media publishers/sharers, as well as some of the news stories from 2014 which will impact schools the most in the coming year. Refer to the Google Document linked in the shownotes for links to many of the referenced apps, websites, and resources discussed in the show. In addition, a video archive of the show is available on YouTube. This was the second annual “end of year” educational technology podcast. Also check the shownotes for a link to the December 2013 version which included Jennie Magiera as well as Jason and Wes. More podcasts from this crew may be forthcoming in 2015! Thanks to everyone who tuned in live and shared feedback as well as questions.
