Well, the Easter Bunny is going high tech at our house this year. In addition to showing up with plastic eggs, real hard-boiled and decorated eggs and candy, he’s bringing “Lego Star Wars” and “Dora the Explorer: Journey to the Purple Planet”, both for Gamecube. (These purchases were both made strictly in the interest of my own educational research agenda on game-based learning, of course!) 😉

Happy Easter! Although this post has nothing to do with Easter, it does have some relevance to Star Wars, and I am sure some educational revelance. I was directed to this web site from a student on the Think.com free school closed blogging community. (Kids find the best stuff! )Anyway, I am seriously thinking of showing this to all my students, well, grade 3 and 4, to demonstrate that they could have a technology job in the future, depending on their interests. This short clip, read advertisement, is very clever as well as informative. You will get your giggle quota for today! I only vouch for the Stores Wars clip, I have not viewed the others linked to this site.

I love it! Thanks so much for sharing. A great example of digital storytelling, and thought provoking as well. I can’t wait to show this to my kids.
