On Feb 8, 2005, Microsoft released a
“Malicious Software Removal Tool”, which is a free tool to remove spyware,
adware, and other unwanted programs that can bog down and even disable
functionality on Windows-based computers. Run the web version from href="http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx"
target="NewWindow">http://www.microsoft.com/security/malwareremove/default.mspx.

This
tool looks promising. I have other suggestions listed on

Of
course the best choice to avoid these spyware / adware / malware problems is to
just use a
Mac!
