(Lesson ideas using the LOTR-ROTK Extended DVD)
I have been teaching a series of Sunday School
lessons this spring on the topic of Christian stewardship– not narrowly defined
in purely financial terms, but more broadly conceived as the calling to be
faithful stewards of God’s creation and all the blessings he has bestowed upon
us in our lives.

One of my initial
reasons for embarking on this study was some thought I had given to the concept
of a “steward” after watching Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings: The Return
of the King. I am using the extended DVD in this study of Christian stewardship
for one of our lessons in this series. For more details, read on at www.wesfryer.com/christianresources/lotr_steward/.
