I just discovered a cool way to embed a Bubbleshare narrated slideshow right within a blog post, by visiting Cheryl Oakes’ Webhead blog. Apparently, from any publicly viewable Bubbleshare album, just add the directory name “/blog” to the end, and you’ll see the HTML code you can copy and paste into your blog post to share the Bubbleshare album as embedded multimedia. Here’s my Bubbleshare slideshow about climbing Popo I created and blogged about last month as embedded media:

How cool is this?! (Very cool in my book.) Web 2.0 innovators continue to make powerful communication easier and more seamless.

Wes,
I shared this with teachers at a workshop on Tuesday and they were equally wowed!!!
Many of them did not realize what web 2.0 was/is, and only one had seen bubbleshare. Hey, I am amazed at bubbleshare and have been since December. I harvested images off the web and made a bubbleshare on my blog about SuitSat, the “junk spacesuit” that the International Space station sent into space to orbit and eventually burn up, all the while collecting data. You can see that at http://www.cheryloakes.com and go to Feb. 6, 2006 entry. Also, while in the administrator at Bubbleshare you can see a menu button for Add to Blog, right there it gives you the HTML code to insert in your blog. Just another way to get to the same place. Over and Out.
