Because of unforeseen scheduling issues, the location for the July 8-10 iPad Media Camp in Manhattan, Kansas, has moved to the UFM Community Learning Center. UFM is located directly east of Kansas State University and Bluemont Hall, and will provide a superb location for this three day, hands-on learning event. This Google Map shows the location of UFM as well as some nearby hotels where participants coming from out-of-town may want to stay.

Since the room at UFM is smaller, however, we will only be able to accommodate a maximum of 20 participants. We have 17 people currently registered for iPad Media Camp in Manhattan, so if you’re wanting to register please do so via EventBrite as soon as possible. The early bird discount expires at the end of May, so there are just 2 more days left to register for $50 off.

If you’re interested in attending iPad Media Camp in another location this summer, spots are still available for June 16-18 in Friendswood, Texas (the Houston area) and for August 4-6 in Roanoke, Alabama. The Friendswood iPad Media Camp is for elementary teachers only, all other summer iPad Media Camps are open to any K-20 educator. The June 24-26 iPad Media Camp in Loves Park, Illinois (close to Chicago, hosted by KIDS) is sold out.

I’ll be updating the openly-accessible curriculum for iPad Media Camps, along with my co-facilitators, Gail Lovely and Dr. Cyndi Danner-Kuhn, throughout the summer. If you’re interested in hosting an iPad Media Camp in Summer 2015, please contact me!
