The documented growth in managed Feedburner blogs is eyeopening, and a visual representation of what it means to live in the elbow of exponential growth, as I discussed in my 9th Podcast on the purposes of my writing project, “Publish At Will.”
This is not a linear growth pattern: it is exponential. Wikipedia has a great entry worth scanning on exponential growth. Such is life in the information age, in the elbow of change curves. More and more information, faster and faster. How can we keep up? We can’t. At best we can “manage.” Thankfully, RSS technology can provide tremendously powerful assistance in this effort.
